UENO Group was established in 1918 by Mr. Masajiro Ueno. Throughout the century, the company becomes to one of the leaders in food additives and chemical industry in Japan due to the combination between knowledge and technology.

In 1988, UENO FINE CHEMICALS INDUSTRY (THAILAND), LTD. was established and constructed the factory at Bangpoo Industrial Estate in Samut Prakan Province and produced Sorbitol Compound as the first product. After that, the company started producing many kinds of sweeteners from Thailand agricultural products. With inheritance of business in Japan, the company expands the business to Food Preservation and Sanitation business; Shelf Life Extension (KEEP LONG), and Sanitary Products (KILLBACT® and CIDALLY®).
