In 1961, Pacific Seiko was born as Japan achieved rapid economic growth. Since then, for more than half a century, we have contributed to the development of the Japanese automobile and consumer electronics industries based on our original technology. Thanks to that, we have grown into a global company that earns the trust of customers all over the world, with 91% domestic market share and 48% global market share.
However, the growth progress to date has never been flat. In an era of major changes, we have overcome numerous trials, repeated trials and errors, and have achieved achievements step by step. Since launching the first factory in the United States in 1994, it has expanded to Mexico in 1998, Thailand in 2000, and China in 2004. Currently, we have established development and sales offices in Düsseldorf, Germany and Detroit, USA, and are steadily expanding our global network.
The future automobile society will have major themes of the global environment and energy, and needs for hybrid cars, electric cars, and autonomous driving will accelerate further. There is also a need for new evolution in the specialized technical fields that we are part of, such as car electronics and material development.
Recognizing the demands of such times, we have always been one step ahead of research, development, and design with our customers, and have achieved “Global Best” as a supplier trusted by customers around the world. I want to. To that end, we have formulated VISION / MISSION / VALUE as an action guideline for all Group companies. What is included here is the desire to become the “Global No. 1 Company” that Taiheiyo Seiko aims to create and contribute to the future automotive society by pursuing original technologies that only we can do. Is a strong determination.
The times are still moving fast. We at Taiheiyo Seiko will use the experience and achievements we have accumulated so far to ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibility and mission for the future, and aim for further growth in the next half century.
