SMC Manufacturing (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. was established as SMC Group’s first mass production factory outside Japan and began operations in August 1987.

As of November 2005, the factory produces one-touch fittings (KQ, KQ2, KJ, KR, and KG series), solenoid valve coils (VF, VZ, VK, VJ, VPW, and VS7 series), cylinders (CQ2, CQS, CJ2, CM2, CA2, MB, CG1, CY3, MY1, MGP, and MGQ series), and refrigerated air driers (IDF and IDU series), which are being supplied to countries around the world including Japan.
