Established in October 1995, Fujitsu Telecommunications Asia Sdn Bhd (FTA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited Japan, was initially set up as an engineering hub for engineering related activities to telco operators in Malaysia and progressed to be an Asian hub taking the role as technical support and information hub center in the region.
The functions and roles have since changed and expanded significantly although staying in the mainstream of telecommunications platforms encompassing fibre optics/ wireless transmission, subscriber access systems and its associated network management systems and components.
The provision of solutions through the system engineering group and backed by the customer engineering support has been our primarily focus to our valued customers.
Recognizing the importance of maintaining consistency and quality of services, FTA embarked on a quality assurance plan and received its certification for ISO9001: 1994 in October 2000 followed by the ISO9001: 2000(E) certification in March 2004.
Granted the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status in 1997. FTA moved its operations to Cyberjaya on 15 October 2001.
