AEON Credit Service (M) Sdn Bhd (ACS) was incorporated in 1996, as a joint-venture between AEON Credit Service Co. Ltd (AEON), Jaya Jusco Stores Bhd, Sinar Berlian Sdn Bhd and individual Bumiputra shareholders. ACS is a subsidiary of AEON Credit Service Co. Ltd, Japan, which in turn is part of the larger Japanese multinational corporation, AEON Co. Ltd. The financial services business of the Group is under AEON Credit Service Co. Ltd. Both AEON Co. Ltd and AEON Credit Service Co. Ltd are listed on the Main Board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The principal activity of ACS since 1997 is the provision of credit to the retail consumers sector through the ACS Easy Payment Scheme for purchase of home electrical appliances, furniture, personal computer, hand phone, health care products and musical instruments. ACS conducts the business in association with many retail outlets [Member Stores] located both in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.
